It seems that this quote belongs to Taylor Swift, and i agree with her 100%. If you’re always thinking about your past it will be very hard for you to live in the present. I’ve managed to put together this list of 10 easy steps that you need to take in order to evolve and start living your life better.

1. Get Rid Of Possessions That You Do Not Necessarily Need.
If you remove the things that always make you think about the past you will start living in the present and you’ll eventually let go of the many thoughts that occupy your mind, allowing you to concentrate on the future.
2. Don’t Forget to Smile.
Anything can happen at any time, don’t forget that you are in control of your own life, start making the things that make you happy right now, stop waiting for tomorrow to come in order to start.
3. Appreciate What Is Happening Today.
Enjoy the day as it’s passing by, try to be joyful all the time.
4. Forgive Past Hurts.
Switch the focus from blaming others for that they’ve done to forgiving them. Once you learn to forgive your life will be better each day.
5. Love Your Job.
If you’re just “hanging in there” and waiting for the day to end or the weekend to come then you’re literally wasting a big part of your life. If you have a normal job then the chances are that you’re losing 5 from the 7 days a week. Try finding a job which you actually enjoy doing or find something that you love doing in your current day to day job and focus on that rather than the negatives.
6. Dream About the Future While Working Hard for It Today.
It’s always good to set plans and goals for the far off future but working hard today is the first step you have to take in order to actually progress towards realizing your dreams. Don’t indulge in dreaming and not doing anything, work hard and do your best today if you want to have a better tomorrow.
7. Don’t Lose Yourself in Past Accomplishments
If you find yourself talking or thinking a lot about your past accomplishments then it means that you’re losing precious time from doing what actually matters today.
8. Stop Worrying.
Slow down a notch and try doing whatever you have to do a little bit slower. That way you’ll have more time on concentrating and doing it right the first time. Tomorrow is going to come not matter what you are doing, so why not make the best of today by worrying less? Your mental energy will dry out very fast if you tend to focus it on worrying.
9. Try Finding New Solutions to Your Problems
We’re in constant movement and evolution, most of yesterday’s solutions aren’t that well suited for today’s problems. Always try and think out of the box, what was good 10 years ago might not necessarily be good today.
10. Conquer Addictions.
Addictions in your life hold you hostage, keeping you from living a joyous life, once you learn to conquer your addictions you’ll begin learning how you can always be free.
