Life is a series of ups and downs, highs and lows, victories and defeats, and so on and so forth. The opposites exist to allow us to appreciate where we are at the moment and to gain wisdom from every situation that we go through. There will always be never-ending challenges that will test our skills – this is the reality that we face in our everyday existence. But the question is, “What can we do?”

Well, we always have a choice.
Our life circumstances help us to build our inner strength and widen our perspectives in life. We can be bitter or we can be better.
We Can Choose to Be Better
But, do we allow ourselves to be bitter and wallow over things that we cannot change? Do we allow ourselves to be plagued by glitches and negativity? We all have a choice. It may not be that easy, but we can train our minds to focus on the positive things and to be thankful for all the blessings that come our way.
There is a study that says, “If we think of at least three things we appreciate each day for 27 days, our endorphins or happy hormones will be triggered.” It will lighten our mood even in the most miserable situation. At the most difficult time, we can laugh at it and tell ourselves, “This too shall pass”.
